  1. Even a technopark company where I work does lot of cheating by not paying the employees properly and cutting their salary unnecessarily. Is there any law to stop them from doing so, which they had been doing for so many years.

  4. Just by reading your experience at AMT , I and others can judge that you have a below average English writing skills. In MT , a high level of written English is mandatory including grammar and punctuations. I believe that you studied in some vernacular medium school and hence couldn't cope with other professional MTs around and therefore this frustration here on this blog. First hone your skills , start with 'English for Dummies'...

    1. I do understand that good english language skills are required, but i have seen many people from vernacular medium who are doing well. But the point raised above holds valid because there are many companies that exploit the employees by different means citing different reasons such as poor accuracy, less line count and having to deal with lot of account specifics which is really frustrating and in spite of this all they dont pay you well.

    2. I wholeheartedly accept and understand the points mentioned above as regards to exploitation by MT companies, there are some companies who exploit employees citing reasons such as errors, and poor line count as these things depend on the quality of dictation, also categorizing them as major error, minor error and so on and making deductions. also some companies who have very tedious account specs do not pay properly to MTs citing reasons such as account specs not adhered to or errrors of account specs which are extremely difficult to remember or refer to each and every time while working which is a big headache and eats into your time. Some companies actually use the as a prop to earn more money from the employees which needs to stop or action taken against such companies

  8. I completely agree with you. From every training batch almost everybody is forced to quit and those who left after a year hardly can cover their petrol expenses. No complaint is filed by anyone because those enrolling for this paid training are generally financially weak and cant afford to court cases or other hassles. I dare Ascent to publish data of how many have undergone training and how many of them after completion of ONE-YEAR-TRAINING got paid more than 2k/month ......
