I am using some other name just for the case that I do not want to be known. In fact, I know you for a long long time.  Now, though we are a very experienced HT people for long years, the main reason why I do not want to work with Acusis is that, their files are extremely tough. They get highly paid for the same, but then they pass that files on to HTs and they want an accuracy of 98% +. Most of the doctors are spitting doctors. First of all, it is very hard to clear their test.   My question is why one want to work on those files especially if one is having so much of accuracy. Guys, there are 1000s and 1000s of companies in India. The MT and editors vacancies are always unfilled...why? Always, all the companies are looking for candidates...why? Just because 98% of the time, it is the company's fault that they are not get the positions filled. Now once you have experience, you can select and choose to work according to your wish.

As far as I am concerned, I have never ever in history worked which is beyond my territories.   When I first went to work in a company about 7 plus years of back, I told in interview very clearly that this is the kind of work I want and this is what I am expecting. I find absolutely no fault in that. As far as Indian constitution is concerned, each individual has full rights to choose what one want to work and live as right to freedom. But, that company person thought I am dictating terms and did not take me. But, since I have abundant of god's grace, I got work with a cochin based company. But then, since in the last 7 years, I have changed nearly 3 companies, though i worked with a company for a duration of 4 years.   But, I have always got the kind of work I wanted. That is how I go about it. As long as one work and earn in a true dharmic way, there is absolutely no fault in choosing the kind of work one wants.

When one is destined to have the kind of work one wants and according to his/her liking, can anybody in this world stop that?

So, my question is the same to all experienced workers. Why u want to bend your head before any company whether it is x,y, or z who is not ready to give you what u want?

It is the companies who are looking for candidates and it is by your work, the company is earning. Without you, the company cant run. So all take a decision that the company respects you in all aspects. It is their need, and not yours.  If all of you stick to your stand, the company will automatically bend their head towards you. Since it is their need, they will definitely bend. From my experience, I am telling.
After all asking for what kind of work you want and an true atmosphere for growth in all aspects is not at all wrong.  So, if a company like Acusis is very strong in dictating terms, so be it. Why you go after them? There are lakhs of companies in India who are always looking for candidates.

Go and work with some who respect you and your needs and where you can enjoy the work you do.

How right you are Madhu. After clearing their tests, Accusis expects you to work for free on live dictations for a month under the pretext of orientation. They are not the only ones. The same is the case with Alfa E-Solution, Mumbai, Pradot Technologies, Bangalore who also expect you to come to Bangalore to give the test and do the orientation at your own expense, Heartlandis, Delhi, Focus, and many others. They all want the cream of the best of MTs in India to pay peanuts in line rate and all look for DUs (direct uploaders). HMTs are given all the bad audios to transcribe. They are the ones who are spoiling the market by trying to cut corners by expecting every MT to be a DU eliminating their expenses on proofers, QA and editors. Focus now under Nuances is only interested in promoting speech-to-text softwares in order to remove the traditional MTs and replace with proofers. Each of them is blowing their trumpet of doing 30 million lines per day. Nonsense! To their chagrin, yet there are thousands of clinics and hospitals in the States who prefer to outsource work to smaller outfits the traditional way via easy to use online platforms or FTP. Then there are experienced and skilled third party vendors who subcontract work from these bigger companies or MTSOs and get MTs or HMTs to do the same. However, these third party vendors will not take crappy dictations/audios from these big companies. The rate may be low but the volumes are high enough for fast transcription. Always keep in mind that India is the largest #1 democratically corrupt country in the world
